The unique feature of the LME49810 chip is the built-in Baker clamp circuit, which ensures that the amplifier output will not saturate in the event of overdrive, because the high-level audio signal passes through "soft clipping" after any undesired audio. False signals are suppressed. The "soft clipping" feature is very useful because the old solid-state amplifiers are especially prone to audio artifacts due to strong clipping.
