Description

Crosbon CR-513TVS New Version Transient Voltage Suppression EMI Audio Power Purifier

Description:
The upgraded CROSBON CR-513 Audio Power Filter & Purifier is an EMI filtering circuit composed of common-mode and differential-mode
inductors along with a transient voltage suppressor (TVS). The TVS in the circuit can switch from high to low impedance in the order of 10-12
seconds, absorbing surge power of up to several kilowatts and clamping the voltage between its terminals to a predetermined value. This
effectively protects sensitive electronic components from damage caused by various surge pulses. Meanwhile, the common-mode and
differential-mode inductors eliminate and prevent noise caused by AC mains ripple and fluctuations, providing excellent suppression of both
differential-mode and common-mode noise.

Advantages:
* Exceptional Crosstalk Suppression Performance
* Not Limited by Current – Can be used in parallel
* Minimizes BDL's ESR and ESL
* Effectively Eliminates Electromagnetic Interference While Minimizing Compression Dynamics
* Clear Advantages in DC Filtering Isolation
* TVS: Can switch from high to low impedance in the order of 10-12 seconds, absorbing surge power up to several kilowatts. It clamps the voltage between its terminals to a predetermined value, effectively protecting sensitive electronic components from various surge pulses.

Features:
CR-513 Pure Music Power Processor
* EMI filtering circuit
* Brushed full-aluminum, exquisite and elegant
* TVS instant surge protection

Upgraded CR-513 Power Conditioner
* Peak Power: 3000W × 2
* Current: 13A × 2
* 6 Sockets
* Net Weight: 4.2 kg

1. Core Upgrade Features:
1.1. Eco-Friendly Green Double-Sided Gold-Plated PCB
1.1.1. Process Characteristics:
* Double-Sided Gold Plating: Both sides of the PCB are covered with a gold layer (typically 0.3–0.5μm thick), enhancing pad oxidation resistance and improving high-frequency signal transmission stability.
* Eco-Friendly Materials: Compliant with RoHS standards, it uses lead-free solder and recyclable substrates to reduce harmful substance emissions.

1.1.2. Advantages:
* Improved reliability of the PCB under humid and high-temperature conditions.
* Suitable for high-frequency, high-density connection scenarios (e.g., communication devices, industrial control systems).

1.2. Bidirectional 5KW Packaged R-6 TVS Diode
1.2.1. Parameter Analysis:
* Bidirectional Design: Can suppress AC or bidirectional transient voltages (such as ESD or lightning surges).
* 5KW Peak Power: Compliant with IEC 61000-4-2 standard, it is capable of withstanding up to 5kW pulse power (8/20μs waveform). Suitable for
harsh industrial environments.
* R-6 Package: Likely DO-214AC (SMA) or similar, compact size (~10×6mm), supporting surface-mount technology (SMT).

1.2.2. Advantages:
* Fast response (nanosecond-level) to suppress voltage spikes.
* High power tolerance to protect downstream circuits from surge impacts.

2. Benefits of the Technical Upgrade:
2.1. Enhanced Reliability
* Gold-plating process reduces pad oxidation, lowering the risk of cold or weak solder joints.
* 5KW TVS diode can handle higher-energy transient disturbances (e.g., industrial power fluctuations, lightning-induced surges).

2.2. Performance Optimization
* Double-sided gold plating improves signal integrity, suitable for high-frequency applications (e.g., 5G base stations, high-speed data interfaces).
* Bidirectional TVS simplifies AC circuit protection design, eliminating the need for additional reverse-protection components.

2.3. Environmental Compliance
* Compliant with RoHS, REACH, and other environmental regulations, reducing export restrictions risk.
* Green materials extend product lifespan and reduce electronic waste.

3. Typical Application Scenarios:
3.1. Industrial Power Modules: Protect power input ports of PLCs, inverters, and other devices, suppressing power line surges.
3.2. Communication Equipment: Provide ESD protection for RF interfaces of base stations and routers.
3.3. Automotive Electronics: Handle transient voltages in vehicle power systems (e.g., voltage spikes during engine start/stop).

4. Design Considerations:
4.1. Thermal Management: Ensure sufficient PCB copper area for heat dissipation of the 5KW TVS diode, or add heat-dissipation holes/metal
substrates.
4.2. Layout Recommendations: Place the TVS diode close to the device being protected and shorten lead lengths to reduce parasitic inductance.
4.3. Parameter Matching: Confirm that the TVS breakdown voltage (e.g., 20V–1000V) is compatible with the system voltage to avoid false triggering.

5. Summary:
The latest upgrade of the Crosbon CR-513 combines eco-friendly manufacturing processes with high-performance TVS diodes, significantly enhancing the product's reliability, environmental adaptability, and compliance. It is particularly suitable for industrial and communication applications with stringent stability requirements. When selecting a model, users should match the TVS parameters to the actual application scenario and optimize the PCB layout to achieve the best protection performance.
