The DYNACO 6P14 push-pull circuit is very cleverly designed. The 12AX7 has two tubes and two functions. It is both voltage amplification and automatic balanced phase inversion. The 1K resistor is the crowning touch. This resistor is the cathode bias resistor of 12AX7. It also forms the inverted phase tail with the secondary of the output transformer, and is also the loop negative feedback resistor! One and three positions saves parts and reduces noise and distortion. The power stage adopts ultra-linear (UL) structure, which balances the balance between efficiency and distortion. After a slight modification, the output power can reach 10W THD=0.4%, and the damping is greater than 4.0. Such a simple line has such an excellent indicator!
