After careful analysis of the circuit, we think this circuit represents The high level of the time, and the strict and meticulous style of the British in this machine is relatively clear, the sound characteristics are also classic British voice, meticulous.
We use the ALPS from the circuit trace to the component package as close as possible to the original preamplifier. The power transformer uses BingZi sealed toroidal transformer. Just because the production structure is not working, the all-aluminum chassis is 20mm wider than the original chassis, just matching my store's QUAD405 power amplifier.
Instructions for use:
There are 8 buttons on the left side of the panel, 4 of which are for signal input selection. RADIO, DISC, AUX. It is actually three inputs. TAPE input has been cancelled.
Because this machine is a clone of the original British QUAD34 circuit, because of the age, the usage habits at that time are slightly different from the current ones. Among them, the phono-amp input has been cancelled because the clone circuit has not been modified. When this button is pressed, the input terminal is suspended, there will be noise, so the TAPE input cannot be used.
There are 4 buttons on the right side of the panel. Except for the MONO (mono) switch on the top, the following three buttons are F1, F2, and SL, among which F1 and F2 correspond to two equalization modes. SL is stereo widening.
There are three knobs on the right side of the panel, and the two on the left are for bass and treble adjustment. The adjustment range for treble is relatively small. The far right is the total volume adjustment.
The rear panel has only 3 inputs and 1 output. (Note: TAPE input has been cancelled)
