Leafaudio PW08-A8 lossless substitution upgrade Eversolo A8 linear power supply with three transformers
Characteristics of this power supply:
1. Using three imported Talema transformers to independently supply power to the digital circuit analog operational amplifier and DAC chip, reducing interference to a lower level, producing pure sound, and achieving immediate results.
2. The voltage stabilization circuit adopts precision low-noise operational amplifier servo stabilization and high current transistor expansion design, greatly reducing the output ripple of the power supply. When the measured output current is 1A, the ripple is only 20uV, while the ripple of the original switching power supply is about 1.6mV.
3.Abandoning the AC filter circuit and adding a more practical AC DC isolation circuit to eliminate the vibration and dryness of the sound caused by transformer saturation due to AC DC (most players already have AC filter power sockets, and using filters for linear power supplies will make the sound dull and lack liveliness)
4. The rectifier diode adopts the original imported silicon carbide model from Infineon, Germany, which is hundreds of times more expensive than ordinary Schottky diodes (please do not compare it with ordinary domestically refurbished silicon carbide). The silicon carbide diode has low reverse recovery loss and zero reverse recovery characteristics, low on resistance, fast switching speed, and lower high-frequency internal resistance of the entire power supply.
5. Use high-frequency ultra-low internal resistance solid-state capacitors and high-frequency low internal resistance electrolysis to further reduce power ripple and internal resistance
